Why Me

“There’s no pressure with Sue. She has a way of helping you see things differently, without judgement. I left feeling calmer, clearer and more hopeful than I had in a very long time.” — Delora

Hello, I’m Sue, a Transition Guide, Human Values Practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapist currently based in Calgary, Canada.

For over thirty years I’ve been helping people navigate change through leadership, organisational development, human values and clinical hypnotherapy.

Early in my career, I found myself becoming fascinated by one simple question. Why do some people seem to move through life’s changes and create fulfilling lives, while others slowly become overwhelmed by them, repeating the same patterns and wondering where they went wrong.

That question stayed with me throughout my career. Whether I was working in organisations, helping leaders develop their people, exploring the role our values play in shaping our lives or working one-to-one with clients, I realised I was always searching for the same answer.

Over the years, however, a different realisation gradually emerged.

The problem people first come to see me about is rarely the thing that’s really keeping them stuck.

Someone wants to stop smoking. Someone wants to lose weight. Someone can’t sleep. Someone wants to save a relationship. Those are the reasons they reach out, but they’re rarely the whole story.

What I’ve come to understand is that life is one continuous series of changes. Some we choose, many we don’t, but every one of them leaves something behind. Unless we’re able to understand those experiences and let go of the emotional weight we’ve been carrying, it’s remarkably difficult to move forward and create a future that feels different from the past.

That’s why my work has never really been about smoking, weight, anxiety or confidence. It’s about helping people understand themselves more deeply, reconnect with what truly matters to them and let go of the things that have quietly been getting in the way for far too long.

I don’t believe my role is to tell you what your future should look like. My role is to help you see yourself and your life more clearly, so that the choices you make feel more aligned with who you are and the future you want to create.

If something you’ve read here has resonated with you, and you are ready to stop searching for another quick social media solution, let's talk. This is a journey that opens your eyes to a whole new way of seeing and feeling the world around you.

No pressure. No judgement.  Just the opportunity to explore where you are today and what might become possible from here.

Warmly,
Sue
